VFB-X Expression Pedal Compatibility Chart & DIP Setting Guide

This chart provides some basic information about expression pedals certified for use with the VFB-X and the custom VB-jrX with switchable phase and expression control. This is guide is not comprehensive - if you have a pedal that is not on the list, and need help determining if it is appropriate for use with the VFB-X, please drop us an email. If you're planning on purchasing a new (or used) expression pedal for use with your X, we suggest staying with those on our recommended list - these are pedal that we feel are superior to most of the other units available on the market.

A note about DIP Switch positions: We've tried to come up with a simple short-hand to describe how to set the internal DIP switches. For example, setting 1XXX means that the switch labeled 1 is in the up/on position, and the other switches are in the down/off position; XX3X would mean that the #3 switch is on, the others are off/down; etc. A full listing of DIP switch settings vs resistance follows below:
